An Advanced Course in Preaching
Structure of Course
This Course is divided into 30 lessons that are grouped into five parts.
Each lesson will be made up of an audio Podcast, a Reading requirement and an assessment (Reinforcement). The text for the Reading will be provided.
Podcast
The greater part of preaching is listening. Tuning out the distractions around you and intentionally paying attention to the voice of God, through study and personal devotional time, is how the preacher is filled. The best preachers are those who preach from that overflow. Audio podcasts has been intentionally chosen to condition us to that paradigm while grasping essential points foreach lesson.
Reinforcement
This is a Premium Preaching course hence the type of assessment isdesigned not to “test” but to reinforce the principles from each Lesson. The Course is not designed to penalise you for getting anythingwrong but to promote you for getting everything correct. The Course is designed for you to excel. This is positive reinforcementand the basis of Academic Coaching. No real teaching takes place until learning has taken place. This type of assessment is based on the premise: What’s worthremembering is worth repeating.
The type of questions for the assessment will be from these categories:
- Objective Type Questions:Multiple choice and/or Fill-in-the Blanks.
- Reflection Type Questions: Tick the appropriate box, if you agree. These questions will be based on the audio-podcasts.
- Response-based Self-assessment questions.
At the end of the course you will receive a Certified Certificate of Completion, which also entitles you to exclusive benefits offered by Resilience Coaching International.
Summative Assignment
At the end of Course you will be required to submit a summative assignment that will demonstrate competence/understanding in applying the principles of Revolutionary Preaching.
This final Summative Assignment will include a compilation of the summative assignments at the end of each lesson.
This will be a self-assessed Summative Assignment.
